The design director is stepping down after spending just over a year at the British label.
Alistair Carr is stepping down from Pringle, after spending just over a year at the British label.
Speaking to WWD, Jean Fang, the brand’s CEO described Carr’s departure as a mutual decision saying: ‘I want to thank Alistair for all his great efforts and contributions at Pringle.’
‘We will miss him, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.’
Fang also revealed that the label plans to show its next ready-to-wear collection, which will be created by its existing in-house team, via presentation rather than by catwalk.
Carr who previously worked at Balenciaga, Chloe and Marni will remain at the label until June to show his S/S’13 menswear collection at the first London Collections: Men event.
