The Creepy Type Of Porn A Large Number Of Women Are Into

The subject of what really turns women on has been batted around for millennia.

Female desire has been called everything from “basic and animalistic” to “complex and dark.”

Recent studies have also suggested female sexuality is far more fluid than that of the opposite sex. Late last year a study by the University of Essex even claimed women are either “bisexual or gay but rarely straight.”

“Men are simple, but women’s sexual responses remain a mystery”, claimed the study’s lead researcher Dr Gerulf Rieger.

But the latest sexual fetish claimed to be more popular with women than men might still feel like a bit of a curveball.

Speaking to Refinery29, vice president of business development at adult entertainment giant GameLink Jeff Dillon said that “family roleplay” or “fauxcest” is a fast-growing branch of the porn industry, with most of the demand coming from women or couples.

This taste for porn ranges from role play scenarios featuring Daddy-daughter relationships to brother and sister sex.

Why are women more interested in “fauxcest” than men? Porn actress Kelly Shibari told Refinery she believes the taste for incest porn arises from it being “such a strong taboo.”

Adult website PornHub has revealed that incest porn is one of its top trending searches among women. But outside of the porn world, in popular culture, we’ve also seen a rise in storylines featuring incestuous on-screen relationships.

From American Horror Story and the Lannister twins in Game of Thrones to the recent eyebrow-raising relationship between Anatole and Helene in the BBC’s War and Peace.

Are these dramas simply catering to female sexual taste? We’ll leave you to ponder that one…
