See the facepalm moment when Kanye West claims his Yeezus tour is as dangerous as going to war. Yes, really.

Kanye West may have been the victim of false press last week, but there’s no denying his latest batch of questionable comments.

Talking with SaturdayNightOnline, Kanye has compared his Yeezus tour to some of the most dangerous jobs in the world. Like, um, going to war.

Kim Kardashian’s husband-to-be said he is putting his ‘life at risk’ as he continues the North American leg of his world tour.

‘Like, I’m just giving my body on the stage; I’m putting my life at risk, literally! When I think about when I’m on the ‘Can’t tell Me Nothing,’ and ‘Coldest Winter’ moment, like that mountain goes really, really high. And if I slipped….’ he explained.

But while his mountain may be high, the New Slaves rapper surprised radio listeners by comparing his job to that of a soldier: ‘You never know. And I think about it. I think about my family and I'm like, wow, this is like being a police officer or something, in war or something.’

He went on: ‘Like you literally [sic] going out to do your job every day, knowing that something could happen. Something can happen to you. I’ll explain to my daughter one day, that me and her mother, we had to fight for this position that we’ll finally have.’

Kanye’s habit of making shocking statements backfired on him last week, as false quotes suggesting the Yeezus star had called himself ‘the next Nelson Mandela’ circulated online.
