Beyoncé reveals her plans for daughter Blue Ivy and they involve a ‘healthy, safe and normal life’

Beyoncé may not share many similarities with women worldwide but when it comes to motherhood her ambitions match those of the majority. The superstar singer has revealed that her one dream for daughter, Blue Ivy is for her to have a ‘normal life.’ Of course as much as she can when her parents are Jay-Z and Beyoncé.

In an interview with US TV chat show, Good Morning America, the singer revealed her hopes for her family saying: ‘I am very protective. I just want to make sure that she [Blue Ivy] can have a healthy, safe, normal life… in the back of my mind, she's my priority.'

Despite her millions and worldwide fame, Beyoncé is refreshingly down-to-earth keeping the conversation about her role as a mother. ‘Life is completely different now,’ she added. ‘I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love, and now have a way bigger meaning. And that's to be her mother.'

Clearly family is always on her mind as Beyoncé also spoke about how her mother, Tina Knowles helps with the childcare. At a press conference on Saturday the singer said: ‘I feel this (superstardom) is temporary and my public life when I'm performing on stage is just a few hours of the day.

‘The rest of the day I'm with my family, I'm changing diapers and I'm with my mother who reminds me, "Girl, you are not a Queen." So it's good to have some balance.’

And it's a balancing act she may need to continue as she hinted that changing nappies hasn’t put her off expanding her brood, Beyoncé said: ‘Definitely I would like to have more children. Motherhood has changed everything.’
