Robert Pattinson revealed his stint away from Hollywood and Kristen Stewart was a revelation

Robert Pattinson may lead a somewhat charmed existence in Hollywood with his millions in the bank, but going back to basic living in the Australian Outback while he filmed The Rover has been somewhat of a revelation as he revealed the experience changed him.

ROBERT PATTINSON IS ‘TROUBLED, DAMAGED AND NAÏVE’ IN THE ROVER

As Robert Pattinson was on location in the town of Marree his life couldn’t have been more different to the superstar lifestyle back home. As he spent months away from girlfriend Kristen Stewart the star had just 90 inhabitants and one pub to keep him entertained in the town of Marree.

But Robert managed to put a positive spin on the sparseness telling The Metro: ‘Being in the desert has a funny effect. It does change you in a way.’

Despite the arid land, endless dust and stifling heat Robert Pattinson revealed that the changes were ‘good in some ways.’ And by that he referred to his acting, adding: ‘It’s added lots to the performance – being covered in dirt, pouring sweat, with tons of flies around. You lose your inhibitions quite quickly.’
