Kate Middleton’s Hair has topped almost every beauty poll going, and while her signature shiny strands have got us all reaching for the intensive conditioner, there is apparently a downside to being queen of locks, according to Charles Worthington.
KATE MIDDLETON CROWNED MOST ICONIC HAIR OF 2012
The celebrity hairdresser, who is once again the official hair partner of the BAFTAs, joined us in praising the Duchess of Cambridge’s stunning head of hair, but did feel a little sympathetic towards her royal plight, that she won’t ever be able to change it.
He told us, laughing supportively: ‘Kate Middleton will be stuck with it [her hair] forever probably. The whole thing about it [her fringe] being a new look was slightly exaggerated. It was a little trim of the fringe.'
With a high maintenance look that so many women want to recreate, Charles stressed how beneficial Kate’s look has been for salons.
KATE MIDDLETON’S HAIR HISTORY
‘Kate has very groomed looking hair, she’s definitely good for the industry. It’s glossy and gorgeous and women who want to emulate that often will have regular colour glosses.’
