Beyoncé Knowles continues her global takeover by signing a lucrative $50m dollar deal with drinks giant Pepsi.

The superstar has embarked on a hybrid project with the company that will see her appearing in a TV commercial and emblazoning her face on cans as well as a multimillion-dollar fund to support the singer’s chosen creative projects.

BEYONCE IGNORES 'STUPID' COMMENTS FROM TV HOST

'Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve,' Beyoncé has said in a statement. 'As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.'

The campaign will coincide with a blitz of promotion for her next, unnamed, album due for release just after she is scheduled to perform at the Super Bowl half-time show on February 3, which, you guessed it, is also sponsored by Pepsi.

Being a global ambasador is just the latest in a long list of projects that 31-year-old Mrs Jay-Z can add to her resume, which includes being a chart-topping recording artist, actress and director.
