Britainís Next Top Model has awarded another winner a foot on the fashion ladder with Letitia Herod being crowned on last nightís (Monday) episode.
She fought off fierce competition from 20 modeling hopefuls to hold the final place chosen by Elle Macpherson, Julian MacDonald, Tyson Beckford and Whitney Port.
The 19-year-old achieved A levels in maths, physics and biology and had hopes of studying medicine but after her older sister persuaded her to enter the competition, which she went on to win, she now has her sights set on shaking up the fashion world.
Speaking of Letitiaís victory, Elle said: ĎI was looking for someone who broke the mould.í
And that she certainly has with a curvier figure and full chest that arenít all that often associated with high fashion.
Earlier in the show Julian said: ĎIs Letitia just a Page Three girl or is she a model?í
Such comments havenít deterred the model from achieving her dream, she told MailOnline: ĎI hope to represent the fact that itís good to have curves and be healthy.
ĎSize zero just doesnít really exist any more. I think thereís been a shift and fashion designers are interested in reflecting real women.í
The first brands to reflect the Ďreal womení that Ms Herod speaks of are the new contracts sheís been awarded as the prize for winning Britainís Next Top Model.
She will be signed up as the face of Revlon, as well as front a campaign with Miss Selfridge and be on the books of Models 1 agency.
