Tom Daley may already have a bronze medal under his belt and be tipped for success in Rio, but it seems he might have his eye on a career in film, too.
The 18-year-old sporting star has revealed he would never say never to the chance to have a go at acting, and 'would love to try something new'.
After a summer of sport, Tom Daley returned to Plymouth College yesterday, to begin a new school year where he'll complete his A-levels.
The medal winner was joined by fellow Olympians Ruta Meilutyte, Jamila Lunkuse and Jade Howard for the first day of term, and the foursome were given a standing ovation in their assembly.
They were later joined by a host of other London 2012 stars for an open top bus parade around Plymouth, where thousands came out to catch a glimpse of the sporting stars.
He may be concentrating on his school work for now, but in the future, Tom Daley says that anything is possible.
So could he be headed to Hollywood?
'At the moment I am studying, but I’d like to become a TV presenter or get film work,' he said.
'I’d love to do anything like that. I would love to try anything new really, be it star in a film or playing a small little part in something like that, that would be pretty cool.'
But even after becoming a famous face himself after his high profile appearance at London 2012, Daley says he still gets star struck when meeting other stars.
'Whenever you meet someone famous, it is always that feeling of, “What do you say?” You don’t feel like you are worthy of going over to speak to them because you see them all the time on the TV and the newspapers,'e he said.
‘But you kind of have to go there and be yourself because they are actually pretty normal, too.
Speaking about meeting Kylie Minogue at James Corden's wedding, he added:
‘Kylie was really nice actually, really short – about 5ft or something. We just chatted about random things.’
