Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are full of beautiful surprises at the moment, firstly they shocked the showbiz world by getting married last week and now it’s been revealed that they wrote their own vows.
During their ceremony People magazine report that the celebrity couple recited their own promises.
A source told the publication: ‘They [Blake and Ryan] promised to support and love each other and to make each other laugh.’

And the unique vows didn’t stop there, with the groom saying he ‘would treasure Blake’ while she said she would adore him.
The source added: ‘The whole time they were beaming. Blake’s eyes started to well up. A lot of people started to well up, actually.’
The backdrop to these sentimental vows was Boone Hall Plantation near Charleston, Southern California.

To add more beauty into the mix, the Marie Claire cover star wore a Marchesa wedding dress and was serenaded by her close friend’s band, Florence + the Machine.

Finishing touches to the day included s’mores, an American treat of toasted marshmallow and chocolate between two crackers, and a send off for the bride and groom with paper lanterns.
