Chris Brown has denied his latest tattoo, which appears to show the bloodied and bruised face of a young woman, is of his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, who he famously assulted three years ago.
Responding to the allegations that the shocking ink on his neck is of his popstar ex, Rihanna, Brown's rep has issued a statement saying: 'His tattoo is a sugar skull [associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead] and a MAC cosmetics design he saw. It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported.'

As many have noted, the image has a strong resemblance to the injuries sustained when Chris attacked Rihanna during an argument which, according to police documents, involved him shoving the songstress's head against a car window, biting her left ear and fingers, punching her repeatedly in the face, and holding her in a headlock until she began to lose consciousness.
Since Brown's conviction - as punishment he was ordered to work with various domestic intervention organisations - the pair have apparently been dating on-and-off and were even seen to embrace at the MTV Video Music Awards last week.
Rihanna recently spoke openly about him during an intimate interview with Oprah Winfrey, describing him as 'the love of my life.'
