Kristen Stewart is due to make her return to the spotlight at the Toronto Film Festival

Kristen Stewart is apparently 'fretting' over her first red carpet event since the scandal of her affair with married director Rupert Sanders broke.

Kristen will face the public for the first time this Thursday (September 6) at the premiere of her new film 'On the Road' at the Toronto Film Festival.

Although the press have been banned from asking questions about her personal life, Kristen is reportedly overcome with nerves about returning to the media spotlight.

'Kristen Stewart hasn’t been able to get a wink of sleep in the run-up to the film festival,' a source told Radar online

'She’s been fretting over the film’s premiere. Kristen’s worried that because it opens the festival, a lot is expected of it and just prays that it’s well received,' the source added.

The reaction the 22-year-old actress receives will perhaps be an indication as to how things might go down when she has to promote the new Twilight film, Breaking Dawn: Part Two, with her estranged boyfriend Robert Pattinson, in November.
