Kate Hudson and Naomi Watts wore their summery best as the first of the Hollywood jet-set to arrive in the historic city for the 69th Venice Film Festival in Italy.

Kate, who we'll next see on the small screen as a dance instructor in a guest-starring role on Season 4 of hit musical show Glee, worked summer's must-have prints in a belted jumpsuit teamed with tribal accessories, including a chunky cuff and beaded shoulder bag. An oversized white leather tote and aviators finished off her chic holiday look.
Naomi arrived in the romantic city with hubby Liev Schreiber, looking relaxed (and a far cry from her current on-screen role as the perfectly put-together Princess Diana) in a linen blazer, loose T-shirt, skinny jeans, brown ankle boots and a brown leather bag, topped off with a straw boater and pastel pink sunnies.
We can't to see what these ladies have to offer on the red carpet this week!
The star-studded festival kicks off today and runs through to 8 September.
