It's not known whether Prince Harry has been summoned home by Buckingham Palace, or whether he has come to the end of the trip, only that he boarded a flight to the UK from Los Angeles, where he remained in the upstairs cabin for the duration.

The party-loving prince landed himself in hot water earlier this week, when pictures of him partying just a little too hard in Las Vegas were leaked online.

The snaps, first published by American gossip website TMZ, show Prince Harry completely naked, covering his modesty with his hands, and even cosying up to a girl, who also appeared to be starkers.

According to reports, the prince, who had been enjoying himself with pals at a Las Vegas pool party during the day, invited a group of girls up to his 'high rollers' suite at the Wynn hotel, where they indulged in a game of strip billiards.

As you do.

As rumours the photos might be fake did the rounds, St James's Palace took the unusual step of confirming the pictures are, in fact, of Prince Harry, but added: 'We have no comment to make on the photos at this time.'

The pictures were reportedly sold for a whopping £10,000.

Prince Harry was seen looking unusually pensive and sullen in Los Angeles yesterday, after being told news of his antics has spread.

It's thought officials at Buckingham Palace are not best pleased with his behaviour, while Harry's brother Prince William is reportedly 'not impressed' by his actions.

It's thought the royal could also face a 'rap on the knuckles' from army bosses.

Questions have raised been raised as to why Prince Harry's royal protection officers did nothing to stop the chain of events, as the raucous Las Vegas evening unfolded.

But yesterday Bernard Hogan-Howe, the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police said: 'Royal protection officers are there to protect him for security reasons they are not there to regulate his life.'

A royal spokesman added that Prince Harry had a reasonable 'expectation of privacy' as the evening's events took place in his own hotel room, with St James's Palace confirming they had contacted the Press Complaints Commission over the incident.

What do you think of Prince Harry's latest antics? Should he be in trouble over the naked photos, or was he just having a bit of fun? Will his latest setback harm his reputation? Let us know in the comments box below…
