Glee creator Ryan Murphy had fans of the show in excitement overdrive when he posted a never-before-seen clip of the cast paying tribute to cult film Bridesmaids on his Twitter account.
GLEE'S LEA MICHELE STRIKES A POSE FOR CANDIE'S
Yesterday Murphy posted a link to the scene, which features Lea Michele's character, Rachel Berry, playing the bride, to his Twitter page, captioned: 'Because you asked for it, The Bridesmaids scene.'
The never-before-seen clip was originally scheduled to air during the show's season three finale, which saw Finn and Rachel parting ways instead of tying the knot, and shows Rachel and her bridesmaids wedding dress shopping.
Rachel settles on a retro cap-sleeved 1950s-style dress with tulle skirt and, as she's admiring herself in the mirror, Quinn (played by Dianna Agron) confronts her about what a mistake marrying Finn would be.
Excited fans poured forth with comments about the clip, with many gushing 'Thank you!' and 'I love you!'
Glee returns to TV screens with a new season this autumn.
