Jay-Z boasts about Blue Ivy's lavish life

By Lisa Potter - Monday 23 July 2012

Proud dad Jay-Z already gave a shout out to his daughter Blue Ivy Carter on his hit single 'Glory' shortly after she was born, and now the six-month-old tot is back, making an appearance on the hip-hop star's latest track.

In the song '3 Kings' featuring Rick Ross and Dr. Dre, Jay-Z boasts about the 'millions' hanging on his walls (referring to his Basquait paintings) before adding that his critics 'couldn't f*** with my daughter's room' or 'walk in my daughter's socks.'

It's no surprise that little Blue Ivy is already becoming accustomed to a lavish life considering her parents are two of the biggest musicians on the planet.

The only child of Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles already has the very best clothes, accessories and furniture - including one rather expensive $3,500 cot.

In May, Jay opened up to friend Oprah Winfrey about his parenting techniques, explaining: 'Well, I mean, everyone imagines they'll be a great dad. Until they're teenagers saying, "Get away from me, Dad. You're embarrassing me!" Right? Everyone imagines that, right?'

Adding: 'I imagine I'll take things I learned from my mum and things I've learned from raising my nephews and apply that,' before admitting: 'Then at the end of the day, I just know I'll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever.'

What do YOU make of Jay-Z's boast? Is he spoiling his little girl too much or just being a proud dad? Tell us your thoughts in the box below or let us know via Twitter...
