Appearing at the huge fan film fest for the first ever time, Jodie Foster told how Comic-Con veteran Kristen Stewart 'really should have given me some tips' before she hit the red carpet to promote new flick Elysium.

Jodie and Kristen starred together in thrilling flick Panic Room back in 2002, when Kristen was just 12 years old, and have seemingly maintained a close relationship ever since.

Although K-Stew was at the film festival to promote final Twilight flickBreaking Dawn Part 2, Jodie just couldn't help gushing about Kristen's last role, in action movie Snow White and the Huntsman.

'[Kristen] really should've given me some tips,' Jodie told Access Hollywood at Comic-Con. 'She's doing great. I just saw Snow White and the Huntsman, which I thought was extraordinary and I thought she was absolutely brilliant in.'

'I'm proud of her,' the actress added. 'I feel like she's my daughter too!'

Last month it was announced that Kristen had topped the Forbes the highest paid actresses in Hollywood, having raked in $34.5 million.

Good work, Kristen!
