In the updated Order of Precedence, it's been decided that Kate Middleton must curtsy to the so called 'blood princesses' whenever Prince William isn't with her, according to reports.
The Queen has decided that when the Duchess of Cambridge isn't with her husband that she must curtsy to the Princess Royal, Princess Alexandra and the daughters of the Duke of York, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
When Prince William isn't present, Kate reportedly falls in rank within the royal family and most show reverence to other members.

But, under the new rules, The Countess of Wessex, Prince Edward's wife, will have to curtsy to the Duchess of Cambridge.
At all times, whether she is with Prince William or not, the Duchess must curtsy to the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.
