After almost two years since announcing their split, actor David Arquette has now officially filed for divorce from Friends star Courtney Cox.
According to TMZ, the Scream actor stated, in the papers filed in LA, that the cause of their split was down to 'irreconcilable differences'.
The couple, who were married for 12 years, are both seeking joint custody of their seven-year-old daughter, Coco.
Despite confirming their separation in October 2010, the pair have been on good terms in public over the past year with with Arquette recently appearing on Courteney's current television show Cougar Town.
