Speaking of the racy role, Kristen, who premiered the hotly-anticipated Jack Kerouac adaptation in Cannes last month, said she did expect some fuss over her stripped down scene, but is totally happy with the result.
'People are really predictable. I completely expected that,' she told E! news.
'I can't say it's not a little bit jarring, but it's jarring in the right way. I wanted it to be. I'm really proud of it.'
Revealing she was nervous about the reaction the film would get at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, Kristen joked: 'Everyone could have gotten up and booed, but our row would have gotten up and cheered.
'We all really do love it, so it would be like, "Let's go have a drink!"'
Earlier this year, Kristen Stewart's On The Road co-star Garrett Hedlund revealed we're about to see a whole new side to K-Stew, with the actor branding Kristen's edgy performance in the movie 'incredible'.
‘[Kristen is] incredible, and in [On the Road], everyone is going to get to see how hard a worker she is, the devotion that she puts into her work,’ he gushed to MTV. ‘Her performance is going to be exposed highly in this.’
After jetting into New York in her off-duty attire, Kristen Stewart smartened herself up for an appearance on The Today Show, in a super-sexy Narciso Rodriguez pencil dress and towering Louboutin heels.
