When we spent the day with Stylistpick starlet Cheryl Cole to snap her for Marie Claire's sizzling May shoot, we never dreamed we'd end up on the subject of royalty. But we did.
Although Cheryl wouldn't spill the beans on her conversations with Prince Charles, her charity partner with the Prince's Trust, she did let slip she was rather a fan of Prince Harry.
'I love Prince Harry,' she gushed. 'Actually, I had a dream last night that I married him and was a real-life princess. And Charles was my father-in-law instead of my charity partner [in the Prince's Trust].
The starlet, who modeled her favourites from her Stylistpick shoe collection just for us, also let us in on her slim figure secrets, revealing she avoids diets 'like the plague.'
'I did when I was younger. When I originally got in the band, I remember the first mean story I read where newspapers called us 'pork stars' - because the show was called Popstars: the Rivals.
She added: 'Louis Walsh had come out publicly and said, "They're all fat. They all need to lose weight". And the record label sent us all to have training.'
And now? 'I'm like any other woman - my weight fluctuates. I have a pair of jeans one size bigger than the other just in case I'm a bit heavier that week.
'I work out and try to make healthy choices.'
And it certainly does the trick!
