Russell Brand has wasted no time after his split from Katy Perry and is apparently already dating a Mexican artist called Oriela Medellin Amieiro.

The newly single star is said to have met the 25-year-old at a yoga class and has already spent the night with Oriela Medellin Amieiro, according to The Sun newspaper.

When the paper questioned her about her dalliance with Brand, she refused to comment, saying: 'I am not comfortable talking about this.'

The Mexian artist has her own website and on it she describes her work as exploring 'guilt, sensuality, sexuality and repression from a woman's perspective.' Many of her pieces sell for up to £4,500 apiece.

The comedian has been granted a divorce from Katy Perry and it will be finalised in July. The pair were married for 14 months.
