Katy Perry dedicates song to Tim Tebow at the Super Bowl

By Suzannah Ramsdale  on Monday 6 February 2012

Katy Perry flirtaciously dedicated a song to rumoured beau footballer Tim Tebow during her pre-Super Bowl performance this weekend.

It's previously been reported that the singer's parents are keen to set Perry and Tebow up because he is a good Christian.

IS TIM TEBOW KATY'S NEW MAN?

Perry took the opportunity at the DIRECTV Super Saturday Night party to dedicate her song Peacock, which includes the lyrics 'I wanna see your peacock, cock, cock, your peacock, cock,' to the NFL star, saying: 'This goes out to Tim Tebow.'

The 27-year-old also enjoyed a flirt with Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers when she presented him with the award for Offensive Rookie of the Year at the National Football League Honors.

While having her photo taken with him, she said: 'You'll be the first straight man I've had a photo with in a long time, so live up to it.'

Katy's Super Bowl weekend fun times came after it was reported that her estranged husband Russell Brand is trying to hook up with actress Zooey Deschanel.

A source told America's OK! magazine: 'Russell has had his eye on Zooey for a long time. And he's been sending funny, flirty texts to see if they can get together.

IS RUSSELL DATING AGAIN?

'He thinks she's hysterically funny and cute, too. He loves her quirky sense of humor, and thinks they'd be great together both on-and off-screen. There's a real spark there.'
