Pippa Middleton is in the centre of a big money bidding war as TV executives try to secure Kate's sister for her first ever interview.

Pippa is about to start promoting her first book, about how to throw the perfect party, and it's been reported that rival talkshow hosts Oprah Winfrey and Barbara Walters are 'pulling out all the stops' to land Pippa for an hour-long special.

A US TV source told the Sunday Mirror: 'The big guns see Pippa as the big-name interview of 2012. Oprah and Barbara Walters are hot on the case.'

In order to secure Kate Middleton's sister as a guest, TV executives are said to be willing to fork out as much as £300,000, but it's expected that Pippa will donate any fee she earns to charity.
