Jackson kids joined by Justin Bieber for Michael tribute

By Lisa Potter  on Friday 27 January 2012

Jackson siblings Prince, Paris and Blanket were joined by Justin Bieber at a ceremony to pay tribute to their late father.

The Jackson children looked cheerful as they cemented their handprints into a slab of concrete with their father Michael's name scrawled on it at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

They also imprinted their father’s hand with a sequined glove, and his feet with a pair of shoes.

The trio were joined by Michael Jackson fan Justin Bieber, who also performed at the star-studded event, much to the obvious delight of 13-year-old Paris.

Speaking to the crowd, gorgeous Paris said: 'We are all very big fans of Justin and his music. I know I am!'

Taking to the stage, teen sensation Bieber said: 'I don’t usually get nervous, but I’m kind of really nervous right now. Basically because Michael meant so much to me and I know he meant a lot to you guys as well.

'He was more than an entertainer. He was an inspiration the way he was kind, he was gentle and very charitable.

'That’s why I look up to him. People are going to remember him for his dancing and singing, but people have to remember him for being the man that he was. I think everybody right now should give Michael a round of applause.'

Adding: 'Everything I do, I look at Michael and I want to be as good as he was.'
