Is there nothing this man can't do? With an Oscar, a Golden Globe and several BAFTAs under his belt, British actor Colin Firth was awarded yet another accolade yesterday - a CBE.

The 51-year-old actor was presented with the piece of royal recognition for his services to acting, during a special reception at Buckingham Palace.

Firth, who attended the ceremony with wife Livia, stepped on stage to receive his award from the Prince of Wales, in front of a host of other attendees.

But he declined to talk to waiting press afterwards, taking a seat to watch the rest of the ceremony.

It's though his latest achievement comes after sweeping the board at awards season last year, for his portrayal of Prince Charles's grandfather George VI in hit movie The King's Speech.

Congrats, Colin!
