It seems last night was a busy one for the A-list in NYC. While the Gossip Girl cast celebrated their 100th episode on one side of the city, a host of stars turned out on another, at the premiere of hotly-tipped new musical series, Smash.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Uma Thurman, Abigail Breslin and Debra Messing were among the famous names to hit the red carpet at the starry event, held at Manhattan's Metropolitan Museum of Art
Despite not actually starring in the musical new show, Sarah Jessica Parker was the evening's main attraction, stepping out at the starry event with hubby Matthew Broderick on her arm.
Once again providing a masterclass in red carpet dressing, SJP ticked all the right style boxes in a shimmering sequinned dress, statement necklace, leopard print clutch and chic velvet jacket. Lovely.
Leading ladies Uma Thurman, Abigail Breslin and Debra Messing all rocked sleek LBDs, while while American Idol winner Katharine McPhee, Stephanie March and Alexa Vega added an injection of colour - and some extra star power to the event.
