Halle Berry’s stalker has been sentenced to 386 days behind bars, after the obsessed fan left the star 'in fear for her safety' over the summer.

After pleading ‘no contest,’ Richard Franco, who was caught trying to enter the actress’s Hollywood property three times during a single weekend, was convicted of stalking and sentenced to 386 days in prison.

He was also given a 5-year probation period, and issued with a 10-year restraining order, banning him from coming within 200 yards of the star or her family.

Despite being issued with the year-long sentence only yesterday, it’s been revealed Franco will spend only six months in jail, after the 193 days he has served so far were knocked off his sentence.

He was arrested by police back in July, after Berry’s security team saw him scale the wall of her imposing LA property, and attempt to enter a guest house.
