Katy Perry makes stage debut after Russell Brand split

Katy Perry put on a brave face to take to the stage in Indonesia last night, despite revelations her estranged ex-hubby Russell Brand is planning a tell-all book about their split.

Dressed in a show-stopping candy-themed costume, adorned with spinning sweet treats and lashings of glitter, Katy sung and danced her way through the evening as if she didn’t have a care in the world.

This comes despite claims the singer’s ex Russell Brand is planning to tell all on their dramatic split in a brand new book.

According to reports, Russ, who’s already authored two autobiographies – My Booky Wook and My Booky Wook 2 – is planning a third instalment, which could document, among other things, the downfall of their marriage.

‘Katy is insulted and feels betrayed that Russell has treated her so poorly,’ one insider revealed to American magazine Us Weekly. ‘She will never forgive him. Ever.’

Instead, sources say the star has been throwing herself into her work, and ‘limiting…interactions’ with the British comedian.

‘He's being so atrocious that she feels like she never knew him,’ another added.
