Kate Beckinsale dazzles in NYC

Hollywood starlet Kate Beckinsale looked stunning in a sequined gown as she arrived at The Late Show with David Letterman in New York.

Kate channelled old style Hollywood as she stepped out in a form-fitting elegant dress for her appearance on the legendary chat show.

The British actress topped of her dazzling Donna Karan dress with a pair of sky-scraping black platformed Christian Louboutin heels.

The 38-year-old actress is in America to promote her new movie Underworld: Awakening, the fourth instalment of the vampire movie.

Earlier in the day she was spotted signing autographs for fans wearing a chic white coat and sunglasses as she made her way to an interview on the Live! With Kelly show.

The modest brunette beauty has previously joked: 'I don't roll out of bed like this. It takes a village.'
