They may be off to Sandringham for Kate Middleton's first ever royal Christmas, but the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have still found time to fit in a little charity work over the festive season.

It's thought the royal couple have plan to make several visits next week, before joining the rest of the family at the Queen's Christmas home next weekend.

According to reports, William and Kate will attend the Sun's Military Awards - or Millies - on December 19, in honour of service mean and women in the UK.

And on December 21, it's thought the couple will pay a visit to charity Centrepoint in South London, which provides accommodation for homeless teens.

Prince William is a patron of the charity, and in 2009 even spent a nightsleeping rough on the streets, as party of an organised event.

Reports suggest the Duke and Duchess will spend the day cooking Christmas meals and taking part in festive celebrations at the centre.

Earlier this year officials confirmed the Duchess will begin her first solo charity work next year, but have yet to announce which organisations she will be supporting.
