Wowza! Sexy starlet Rihanna is on fighting form as she makes her movie debut in tough action flick, Battleship.

The songstress turned tough to take on her first acting role - as a sharp-tongued weapons assistant – and you can sneak a peek at the trailer here…

A blockbuster movie version of the classic sci-fi board game, the film focuses on a fleet or naval war ships as they do battle with a host of powerful alien crafts at sea.

So far, so dramatic.

And lucky Riri landed the role of ‘badass weapons officer' Raikes in the hotly-tipped new movie, which also stars Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgaard and Brooklyn Decker.

Earlier this year, the singer spoke of the gruelling cadet training she was put through while preparing for her first movie role.

'One man drilled me, yelled at me, cursed me out, made me do push-ups,' she told Fandango, adding: 'It got you really in the mentality, that's the stuff that they go through; it's not a walk in the park,'

Clearly.
