The Devil Wears Prada actress Anne Hathaway is engaged to long-term boyfriend Adam Shulman, a spokesman for the starlet has confirmed.

Rumours wedding bells could soon be on the horizon first began over the weekend, when the brunette beauty was spied sporting an engagement-style sparkler.

And now the delighted actress has confirmed she is to marry Shulman, her boyfriend of three years.

Earlier this year, Hathaway gushed about her affection for the actor and jewellery designer in an exclusive interview with Marie Claire.

‘I am very much in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan,’ she said of their three-year relationship.

‘I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!’
