Lily Allen welcomes a baby girl!

Songstress Lily Allen and husband Sam Cooper have welcomed a baby girl, according to reports.

Although a spokesman for the pair have yet to confirm their happy news, well wishes have already begun pouring in on Twitter, with one close friend admitting the birth had been 'all good'.

It’s thought Lily gave birth to her first child on Friday evening, almost one year after suffering a tragic miscarriage six months into her pregnancy.

She also lost a baby at four months, while dating Chemical Brothers' Ed Simons in 2008.

Over the weekend, the singer’s ex-boyfriend and close pal DJ Seb Chew Tweeted: 'sending out love to lily, sam and mini cooper......YES.'

Friend of the couple Charlie Coundou later seemingly confirmed reports Lily had given birth, Tweeting: 'She has indeed, a little girl'.

Lily and Sam announced they were expecting at their Cotswolds wedding in June, with the delighted groom reportedly confirming the happy news during the reception, and telling guests Lily was 12 weeks into her pregnancy.

The blooming beauty has rarely been seen out and about since announcing pregnancy, but took to Twitter during Halloween to post pictures of she and her burgeoning baby bump enjoying some fright night fun.
