Rihanna says being single ‘sucks’

We’re pretty sure that she’s not short of offers, but Rihanna has revealed that her love life is non-existent due to her gruelling work schedule.

The raunchy pop star, who is currently number one in the UK and US with her tracK Rihanna-s-sizzling-we-found-love-video.html" target="_blank">We Found Love, said in a TV interview with Ellen DeGeneres in the US that being single ‘sucks’ and left the chat show host stunned when she described the state of her sex life.

‘My personal life is pretty much non-existent which is not good. Not for the long run, not for me, not for her,’ Rihanna said as she pointed to her nether regions.

The superstar singer added: ‘I'm not necessarily happy being single, it's not really that cool. It sucks, but it is what it is. I do put a lot into my job – most of my time, if not all of it. It definitely effects my personal life.’

Rihanna also used the interview to dispel rumours that she’s dating her co-star in the video for We Found Love, British boxer-turned-model Dudley O’Shaughnessy, and to discuss her love ofTwitter.

She said: ‘I’m not dating anyone right now. I’m not dating at all, like it’s kind of wack. That’s why I stay on Twitter a lot. So I can converse with my fans because I don’t get any booty calls.’

And her ideal man?

‘I like men who are aggressive but mysterious,’ she told Ellen. ‘I like them to be sure of themselves.’
