Bradley Cooper named Sexiest Man Alive

Handsome actor Bradley Cooper has been named the Sexiest Man Alive by American magazine People.

BRADLEY COOPER'S STYLE HIGHS AND LOWS

The smouldering actor topped a prestigious list of over 100 super-hot guys.

The Hangover star told said of his new Sexiest Man status: 'I think it's really cool that a guy who doesn't look like a model can have this.'

Humble sounding Cooper went on to say, 'I think I'm a decent-looking guy. But sometimes I can look great, and other times I look horrifying.'

'The first thing I thought was, "My mother is going to be so happy."'

Fans of Cooper will be happy to know that he revealed he's still single.

He said, 'If you're a single man and you happen to be in this business, you're deemed a player. But I don't see myself as a ladies' man.'

Cooper dated actress Renee Zellweger, 42, for two years and was recently linked to Jennifer Lopez, but says he is currently on the look out for love.

It was thought Brad topped the list because of his peircing blue eyes as well as his ability to speak fluent French.

The Limitless actor took the crown from the 2010 winner Ryan Gosling, 31, who still featured prominently in the list alongside other obvious candidates, George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

The other 'hunks' who made the shortlist of 123 guys include newcomers Glee star Darren Criss, 24, and Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend Justin Theroux, 40.

Other previous heartthrobs who are apparently 'loosing their looks', were further down the list than normal, including Brit actors Jude Law, 38, Gerard Butler, 42, and Colin Farrell, 35.
