Despite rumours the 30-year-old cricketer-turned-banker was set to propose, sources say the pair have gone their separate ways for good.
It’s thought Pippa and Alex split briefly over the summer, after the ex-sports star struggled to cope with her life in the spotlight.
And although they were reunited – and even spied smooching outside the swanky Boodles Boxing Ball last month – it seems it’s finally over.
‘She and Alex split briefly in the summer — but this time it's over. They are barely speaking,’ one royal source told the Sun.
‘It was said after the wedding that Alex was jealous of Pippa flirting with Prince Harry. But the truth is she and Harry are just mates.’
Reports suggest the royal bridesmaid’s been seeking solace from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
‘Pippa tried to get over the split by spending last weekend with Wills and Kate at Balmoral,’ the insider added.
Officials are yet to comment on the reports.
