PICS: Cheryl Cole hits Hollywood

When we heard Cheryl Cole was in line for a part in a Hollywood movie, we couldn't help but get a little bit excited.

And the songstress stepped out on set for the very first time over the weekend, to film scenes for the upcoming flick, What To Expect When You're Expecting.

The starlet was spied reporting for duty on the set of the big budget movie in Atlanta, Georgia, for the first time yesterday, striding out in a black lace Emilio Pucci mini, towering Louboutin heels, and of course the requisite sunnies.

Clutching her favourite frozen Starbucks drink, Cheryl was accompanied by her assistant as she braved soaring temperatures and made her way to film her first scenes.

It's thought Ms C is playing a talent show judge, who will cast her opinion on Cameron Diaz's character in an X Factor-style contest in the star-packed new movie - which will also feature Jennifer Lopez, Matthew Morrison, Chace Crawford, Elizabeth Banks, Anna Kendrick and Chris Rock.

But don't expect to see Cheryl giving up her day job just yet.

‘This is a bit of fun for Cheryl,' one insider revealed last month.

'It doesn’t mean she suddenly wants to become actress. It was just an opportunity that has come up while she has been having some down time and she thought it would be great fun to take part.'
