Miss Spears is well and truly back to her best in the brand new clip, a teaser for the famous Video Music Awards show, which hits screens on August 28.

Paying tribute to music greats and people she’s ‘grown up listening to,’ the starlet features tracks and tributes to Madonna and Michael Jackson – as well as some of her own songs - in the snappy, 30 second-long clip.

With the awards just weeks away, the clip’s already prompted rumours Britney could have something extra-special in store on awards night.

And with her celebrated Femme Fatale tour in full swing, a new album and a string of new singles under her belt, Brit’s clearly been hard at work.
