While thousands, no make that millions, of boys around the world have fallen under Emma Watson’s spell, the Harry Potter star has revealed her first crush: co-star Tom Felton.
The British actress, who plays girl wizard Hermione Granger in the hit franchise, says that she developed a crush on Felton, who portrays school bully Draco Malfoy, during the filming of the first two Harry Potter films back in 2001 and 2002, when the young actors were aged 11 and 13 respectively.
She tells Seventeen magazine: ‘He was my first crush. He totally knows. We talked about it - we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that’s cool.’
But while Felton is all loved-up with girlfriend Jade Olivia, Emma is still looking for love.
She said of the dating game: ‘I’m so impatient – it’s one of my worst traits. If I want to see someone, I want to see them, and if I don’t, then I don’t. My friends are always telling me I have to play hard to get because I'll pretty much say to a guy, 'I like you – let's go hang out.' But my friends are like, 'You can’t do that! You have to string this guy along.''
She adds: ‘It's a nightmare. I definitely haven't figured it out yet.'
