Ugly Betty is married!

America Ferrera - who famously played the sartorially-challenged Betty - wed her longtime love Ryan Piers Williams on Monday night, in an 'an intimate setting amongst close friends and family', her rep confirmed to People Magazine.

The blushing bride wore a stunning strapless gown by Amsale's Christos label and Fred Leighton earrings to walk down the aisle before a host of famous friends, including former co-stars Vanessa Williams and Rebecca Romijn, plus Blake Lively, who she starred alongside in movie Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

The new Mr and Mrs Williams first met at university, when aspiring director Ryan cast the 27-year-old actress in his student films.
