‘Ecstatic’ singer Pink and her hubby Carey Hart have welcomed a tiny new arrival, after the pop star gave birth to a baby girl, yesterday.

Willow Sage Hart was born at a private hospital in Los Angeles, and both mother and baby are said to be doing well.

Following the birth, the proud new parents just couldn’t wait to share their happy news, taking straight to Twitter to alert fans.

‘We are ecstatic to welcome our new beautiful healthy happy baby girl, Willow Sage Hart,’ Pink wrote.

‘She's gorgeous, just like her daddy [Carey Hart]. #beyondblessed’

Earlier this week Pink hinted her new arrival could soon be on the way, by posting a series of cryptic message online.

‘New Moon in Gemini today :) a good time to start something new.... Also called the Honey Moon. #intoit,' one read.

The singer has previously gushed about looking forward to welcoming her first baby.

‘I have a life inside of me, and I want her or him to know that I will accept him or her with open and loving and welcoming arms,’ she wrote on her website after announcing her pregnancy news.

‘And though I will prepare this little munchkin for a sometimes cruel world, I will also equip this kid to see all the beauty in it as well.’
