Marion Cotillard gives birth to a son!

Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet are celebrating the birth of their first child - a baby boy names Marcel.

The Oscar-winning actress gave birth on Thursday night, People confirmed today, with a source stating: 'Mother and baby are fine.'

The French star and her actor/director beau first met on the set of Love Me If You Dare in 2003, and began dating in 2007.

Last year, engagement rumours started to circle, after Marion was spotted sporting large diamond sparkler, but friends shot down talk of a ceremony, revealing the famous pair ‘haven't disclosed any plans concerning marriage.’
