Kate Moss on Kate Middleton

Kate Moss loved the royal wedding – according to a rare interview with The Telegraph. Speaking to the newspaper, the 36-year-old model talked about the other famous Kate’s recent wedding ahead of her own union with rocker Jamie Hince later this year.

When asked about Ms Middleton, the model gushed: ‘Oh I love her! She was so chic and seamless. And just beautiful, it was just as a royal wedding should be.’

There were a few tears on the day as well – but not from supercool Mossy. Apparently the little girls present found it all a bit too much!

She explained: ‘(I watched it) in the country, with loads of friends and kids who were all crying. There were tears. We were like 'ok, you can marry Harry!''

But she laughed off the idea that maybe she too would witness a wedding in Westminster Abbey between daughter Lila Grace and William’s younger brother.

'Nah! No!' she admitted.

Not that a title doesn’t appeal to her. When asked if she would like to be honoured by the Queen for her services to the fashion industry, the model mum laughed.

‘Can you imagine? I’m too young to be made a Dame. A Dame’s for old women. Like Margaret Thatcher. I’d prefer to be a baroness. I’d quite like to be Lady Kate,’ she joked.

‘But I’m happy just as I am.’

This is the first time I can remember reading anything Miss Moss has said and actually enjoyed reading it. It just goes to show even posh people can change.
