Where do you take the newest addition to the Royal family for her honeymoon? A secret resort in the Indian Ocean of course!

Prince William is allegedly planning to take his new wife Kate Middleton to a luxury resort to soak up some rays and get away from the hysteria surrounding their wedding last Friday, flying by private jet and helicopter to get to their holiday haven.

He’s certainly not scrimping either - reportedly forking out a whopping £4,000-a-night on q plush villa for the 10 day break later this month.

Ahead of the royal honeymoon, William’s protection officers visited the locale to check it was up to standard - even though it is thought that not even Kate knows the whereabouts of the getaway.

A source told The Daily Mail: 'The Prince’s protection officers flew out two and half weeks ago to check it out and their villa has been booked and confirmed.'

'It’s one of the most incredible places you will ever visit and Kate will have the time of her life. It’s everything you could want from a honeymoon destination and more – beautiful beaches, tropical seas and complete privacy,' the source continued.

'It’s a real Robinson Crusoe kind of place. There are some beautiful hikes, but if you can’t be bothered to walk a golf cart will transport you. They will also deliver you a picnic with ice-cold drinks.'

And the best bit? The butler service!

'If you fancy some company there is a little beach bar and a restaurant. Most people, however, prefer to eat meals brought by the butler on the privacy of their deck while watching the sunset.'

Consider us jealous.

And that’s not the only trip coming up for the Royal duo. They’re also rumoured to be planning a trip to visit Wills’ pal David Beckham in Hollywood.
