Furious songstress Lily Allen has hit out at a guest who leaked her wedding invite to the press, after pictures of the comical card – asking friends to save the date for her June nuptials – appeared in the press yesterday.

Taking to Twitter to vent her frustration, Lily uninvited the culprit from the cereomny, and expressed her annoyance that the save-the-date card had been revealed to the world.

‘Oh and whoever leaked my wedding invite to the press, you're a d**k and your not invited anymore, have some respect and stay at home,’ she fumed.

Oh dear.

Yesterday, Lily and fiancé Sam Cooper’s June 11th wedding date was confirmed, when pictures of her save-the-date cards surfaced online.

The smile singer sent out cards to friends and family, confirming the special ceremony, and asking them to keep her chosen date free.

And far from being a formal affair, it seems wellies and dungarees could be in order for Lily and Sam’s nuptials, if the comical cards are anything to go by.

A hilarious, vintage-style snap shows the happy couple arriving by tractor, dressed down in some less-than-stylish country clothes.

'Save the date for the wedding of Lily and Sam. Saturday June 11th 2011 Gloucestershire... Invitation to follow,' the caption read.

It’s thought Lily’s beau Sam popped the question on Christmas Day on the balcony of their £800-a-night suite at the exclusive Amankila resort in Bali at sunset.

And yesterday, Lily revealed she had already started her pre-wedding fitness regime, and was meeting a personal trainer.

You silly Woman Jane - the invite was sent to her family and so called "friends" and not to the public, so her frustration is that one of these "friends" has gone to the press. Surely you can understand that Lily wants to keep her wedding day special - I imagine you'd have had something to say if Lily had done the opposite and sold out to the paps for exclusivity. If you don't like her don't read about her. All the very best of happiness to them.

well said Betty - my thoughts exactly.
This wasn't a PR stunt, this was a so-called friend who leaked the date and invitiation. Being a celeb doesn't mean that you have to involve the public on everything. If she goes on to 'sell-out' and have a magazine deal for the day then I willwithdraw my support but on the face of it, this looks like a friend cashing in.

Betty, Kerry and nannyof9 you poor gulable things, she has you believing all her sob stories, have none of you heard "there is no such thing as bad publicity". She does a channel 4 programme (getting paid) then tells her fans via twitter not to watch it? Oh please! Me thinks the woman does protest too much!

Jane, if you're going to call me anything ensure you spell it correctly honey. I imagine from your comments you didn't watch her programme, well I did and I understand why Lily then felt the need to ask people not to watch it. It was a journey that no-one would ever have predicted and whilst you may think that any publicity is good publicity her journey must have been quite hard for her to have aired. Maybe you should have watched the programme and then you would have seen that this star only ever wants to be a loving wife and mother, it just so happens that she has an amazing talent that i'm grateful she shared if only for a short time.

Jane, she told fans not to watch her television program because she was ashamed of the person she was at the time of filming and so what if she's getting paid for doing it, and I don't understand why being famous means you have to share everything with press, weddings are private affairs and that's what she wants it to be, you'd be pretty annoyed if you didn't want someone invited to your wedding and someone you had invited told that person when it was so they could turn up uninvited.

Jeez have some sympathy for the girl, after all she has went through the past few years (the miscarriages) think she deserves a happy wedding day (at least)

I like Lily Allen and her music and I do think it's completely ridiculous and stupid for someone to leak this card to the press, now she doesn't know who to trust. But Jane has a point, I have been watching her channel 4 show and do wonder why she is doing it if she doesn't want to be seen. It just highlights her issues with her own self image, it's not a Katie Price type thing.
