Jennifer Aniston has revealed she’s set to take a short break from acting and step behind the camera for the second time. The Friends star will turn her talents to directing, to take charge of a new film about breast cancer.

Jen’s short film will be part of Lifetime TV’s five-part anthology series, Project Five.

The starlet will join forces with a four other famous faces – including Demi Moore and Alicia Keys - during her stint in the director's chair.

It’s thought the Hollywood celebs will take charge of one episode each, with the collection of shows to be screened later this year. 

'Our hope with Project Five is to entertain, inform and inspire dialogue, research and prevention,’ Jen revealed to American Magazine Us. ‘Otherwise, our goals are small.’

‘We want these films to move people and empower those affected by breast cancer to stand tall through this challenge, which impacts all of our lives, no matter who we are,’ she added.

In the past, Jen’s made no secret of her wish to make a move away from acting.

'After you get enough movies under your belt you sit back and go, 'What's next?'' she starlet said last year. 'It's getting to a time where creatively I want to turn in a different direction.'
