M&S model Myleene Klass and hubby Graham Quinn welcomed a bouncing baby girl over the weekend, after Myleene gave birth in London on Friday. And the unusual name the pair chose for their new addition? Hero Harper.

STRANGEST CELEBRITY BABY NAMES!

Baby Hero was born at 5.02pm on Friday, weighing in at a healthy 6lb and 2oz, a spokesman for the happy family has confirmed.

'Mother and baby are both very well,’ an official statement read. ‘Myleene, Graham and Ava are all very proud and excited about the arrival of baby Hero.'

Just last week the musical star told followers on Twitter she was just about ‘ready to burst,’ ahead of the tiny tot’s birth.

And the congratulations have already begun pouring in. X Factor winner Alexander Burke wrote on Twitter: ‘Congrats to Myleene. So happy for you and Gray.’

Myleene – who is engaged to ex-Hear’ Say bodyguard Graham Quinn and has a three-year-old daughter, Ava – has often spoken of her wish to have a large family.

‘Ava said to me the other day, “I miss my sisters”,’ she said last year.

‘I said, “Oh really? How many sisters do you have – or do you want?”. She said she’d like two. I’d love her to have seven sisters. I don’t think I could love anybody as much as I love Ava, but I have two siblings and I don’t feel my mum loved any of us less.’

Congratulations to the happy family!

How nice to see a celeb choose a pretty classical name for once instead of naming their baby after a fruit!

So pleased all went well for her, congrats. xx p.s Patti must admit I have never heard of the name 'Hero' before so wouldn't view it as a 'pretty clssical name' ??!!
