After nearly two years together, hot Hollywood pairing Bradley Cooper and Renee Zellweger have split, according to US reports.

It’s thought the couple – who have never officially confirmed their romance – met more than six years ago on the set of steamy thriller Case 39.

And it’s rumoured romance blossomed in July 2009, after they were spied out and about together on a number low-key dates.

At the time, Bradley was quick to gush about his new beau in an interview, but kept quiet on the state of their relationship.

‘I can't say enough about her,' he said while promoting their Case 39 movie. 'I just love her. I [loved] coming to work. I love acting with her. I can learn so much from her.'

Last year, speculation even grew Bradley and Renee were set to tie the knot, after the Bridget Jones star was spied sneaking a peak at designer wedding dresses at a swanky Los Angeles bridal boutique.

But it seems it wasn't to be.

Talk first surfaced there could be trouble in paradise after they attended an Oscar party earlier this year, but spent little time together at the event.

And although reps for the couple have yet to comment, it’s thought the private pair have now parted ways for good.
