Marion Cotillard joins new Batman movie

Christian Bale's Batman will have not one, but two A-list leading ladies in new flick, The Dark Knight Rises, with Marion Cotillard joining the cast this week.

The Oscar winning actress joins fellow new addition, Anne Hathaway, who has signed up to play femme fatale Catwoman. As yet, Marion's role is unknown.

People Magazine claims that the deal was made in Paris last weekend, despite the actress currently being prenant with her fist child.

She is due in April, with the film set to start filming in June. It will see its release in July 2012.

Cotillard's addition to the cast shouldn't come as a surprise - she starred in director Christopher Nolan's last movie, Inception, alongside Joseph Gordon Levitt, who's also bagged a role in The Dark Knight Rises.

Now all we need is a certain Mr DiCaprio and we'll have a full Inception reunion!
